Rufus and Stitch

Gemma recently wrote to us about her hamsters Rufus and Stitch. Sadly Rufus had passed away recently at the tender age of 5 months after an illness. We pass on our deepest condolences on Gemma's loss and have to say Rufus was an adorable little cream boy. Gemma's older hamster, Stitch, is a very gorgeous black banded hamster, and we hope he has a long and wonderful life.

I know my beautiful Ruf is up in hamster heaven. Stitch still makes me laugh every day with his weird antics. He is particularly partial to eating toilet rolls and 'talks' quite regularly which is the cutest thing I've ever heard and is something none of my other hamsters has ever done.

I'm not going to have any more 'kids' now until Stitch passes away of old age. He is still very active so I hope he still has a long life ahead of him.
