Time for some more website updates
Time Spent Online
Today sees the return of the Mad About website tracking your time spent online. Yes, now you can see if you are sticking to that new year resolution of spending more time on Mad About Hamsters. Brag to your friends (or feel really depressed!) about the amount of time you have spent online at Mad About Hamsters!
You can see details about your time online:
For a bit of fun you can also check out the time spent online leaderboard and see just how Mad About Hamsters you really are! When you are on the Forum section, click on the Community button and then select the 'Time Spent Online Leader Board' option. Please note the average times will take a little while to settle down until there is a bit more data for your profile.
- Next to any post you make; or
- On your profile page.
And finally, a running total of our combined time spent online is shown at the bottom of the main Forum page in the general statistics (I daren't look!) You can also click on this to access the leaderboard.
Time online started tracking on 3rd January 2011 at 13:15 GMT.
Usergroup Colour Legend
Confused as to what all the different colours mean for peoples usernames? This relates to their main usergroup that they are a member of. The main Forum summary at the bottom of the page now tells you just what the colours mean.
Seperate Sticky and Regular Threads
When viewing forums, threads are now seperated in to sticky and normal for easier viewing.
Automatic Image Resizing In Posts
Since moving to the new forum, images posted by members that are wider than the website cause them to be contained by a scrollbar box and you can only see part of the image.
This has now been fixed. Images larger than the standard width of 710 pixels will be resized to fit the page. You can then click on the image to view it full size.
