The Trials and Tribulations of a Code Monkey

Well... ok... they will be around lunch time today (Sunday 3rd April 2011). It is all ready to go

I know it is a feature quite a lot of people have missed since we changed the look of the website. Our old chat room was getting a bit creaky and unreliable which is why it never made it over to the new look website. However, we have an all new chat room that is much more stable and has some nice new features too.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the website recently. Your kindness help us afford the chat room sotware that I built in to the site. It was quite expensive and wouldn't have been able to buy it without your help.

So key an eye out in the navigation bar at the top for the new 'Live Chat' button. It will appear in between the 'What's New?' and 'Live Feed' buttons when you are logged in.

I have also set it so that there is a number in the button so you can see how many people are in chat as you browse the website. For example, if the button showed 'Live Chat (2)' then two members would be in the chat room.

I will leave you to discover the rest of the chat features yourselves when the button appears tomorrow around lunch time.
