Monday 21st May 2007 to Tuesday 5th June 2007 Prenatal

We mate Princess to Spud on 21.5.07. We have been placing them together in a separate mating area over the last few evenings but this is the first time we have not had to separate them and mating takes place. We return Princess to her cage and allow her a few days rest in her own surroundings before moving her to a breeding cage a week before she is due to give birth. Princess begins to get rounder approximately four days before the pups are due and we ensure that she eats well and that we give her a mixed diet including calcium and proteins.
