The pups can definitely open their eyes now and often peer at the world around them as though wondering what is going on!
The mink roan has beautiful red eyes and the sable and sable roan appear to have black. As the sable roan will carry the Wh gene, her eyes will have a red tint to them if a light is shone in them. We see this regularly with Princess and some of the photos we take give her a really crazy look when the flash catches her eyes.
We handled the pups again today and will do each day from now on to ensure they are tamed before going to new homes. Already they show their own individual personalities, the mink roan being incredible slow and laid back when being held and the other two not appearing frightened, but just so quick that we have to be very careful not to drop them. We keep our hands very close to the floor to ensure that if they do drop out of our hands at least they will not hurt themselves.
