Past Hamster Litters - Bramble and Spud

Bramble and Spud were mated on 7th March 2007. View their diary and see their pups growing up by clicking on the tabs below. You can also click on any of the thumbnail pictures to view them full size.

21.04.07 Day 30

Bramble has been put back in her own cage, and very relieved she looks too. Nubby is doing fantastically and we can almost see her growing. She definitely seems to be catching up and though still smaller than the other girls she is looking very strong and healthy. Our fears about her are now at an end.

The girls love the coconut shells to sleep in and we have put two of them in their cage, but they all seem to try to sleep in the same one. It’s very funny to see them squeeze in a door, pushing another one out of the window! The pups will be going to their new homes or the pet shop by the time they are 6 weeks old, so we take plenty of time to have cuddles with them all before that happens. Whoever gets our wonderfully friendly babies will be very lucky and we hope that they have a long and happy life wherever they end up. Luckily for us, some of our friends have chosen hamsters and so we will be able to keep in touch with them as they grow.

Goober (Sonny) to Donna’s granddaughter
Cream (Mindy) to Caroline
Queenie (Mork) to Caroline
Moley (Mrs Stubby) to Naomi
Triplet 1 (Patch) to Kelly, Chris’s granddaughter

The others went to our local pet shop that sold them all within a week and were impressed with their temperaments and personalities.
