Bramble still shows no sign of stopping feeding and, though Nubby is gaining strength by the day she is still only about a third of the size of the others. We make the decision that, for the last few days of Bramble feeding her pups we will remove all but Nubby to a separate cage and let him get a couple of days of quality feeding.
We put lots of interesting toys in the pups’ cage and they make the most of enjoying all of the interesting things to do. Moley (Mrs Stubby) particularly likes the coconut shells.
The pups are just as friendly now as Mum and Dad. As soon as anyone puts their hand in the top of the cage 11 pups try clambering up. Today I had to be rescued as 3 got up the inside of my bathrobe sleeve whilst 4 were on the top of my arm and 2 more climbing on my hands!
Nubby and Bramble settle down to have a long rest and spend most of the time sleeping next to each other with Nubby feeding.
