The pups continue to grow and markings become more pronounced. Today, Bramble will not take no for an answer and comes out for a quick cuddle and a well done from the family. She was jumping at the sides of the breeding cage and would jump her way around the cage, even jumping on her nest. This brought indignant squeals from her pups so we gave them a break from Mum squashing them for a few moments only, though it did give us chance to get some good photos. After returning to the cage, she immediately gave her brood a good feed.
I love these pictures, especially looking back at them now. In these photos I can make out individual hamsters and remember the names I gave them and why. See if you can spot which ones I called:
- Divvy (as he looked like he had a division sign on his back)
- Queenie (looked like he had a crown on his back)
- Collie (I could see what looked like an Old English Sheepdog on his back)
