Hamsters

We are Arti, Teresa and daughters, Amy and Rose. We live in North East Lincolnshire, Grimsby, United Kingdom. Although we are hamster mad, these are not our only pets (we do see life beyond Syrian and Russian dawrf hammys!). We also provide a home to 4 cats, Smudge, Freddie, Honeysuckle and Willow. Amy also has two Leopard Geckos called Echo and Sirius.

Our grown up son, Paul, also deserves a mention even though he has flown the nest (which made room for more animals!) and now lives in Leicestershire where he is a singer in a folk duo Norcsalordie.

After some hamster-free years we succumbed to pressure from Amy & Rose (the kids) to let them have a hamster. Peanut arrived and we were immediately smitten. He awakened our interest in hamsters as a pet and we quickly all fell in love with him. Peanut is now an old man though still very active but our collection of hamsters has grown since then (and no doubt will continue to do so).
